There are two types of travel insurance policies offered. The first one is holiday travel insurance which provides coverage within a selected region for a single trip. The policy provides up to $2,000 hire car insurance excess and between up to $6,000 to $15,000 for personal baggage and travel documents recovery.

Its critical to note that if you have had an item stolen you must report it within 24 hours to the local policy or government and have a copy of the report. Also, if you have lost or damaged property when in transit you need to report it to the transport provider within three days and once again, ensure you have a report.
